At the end of the program you will feel empowered by increasing your knowledge about arthritis and different ways to manage it, feel stronger, increase your balance and have more confidence about being physically active.
This program is funded by the Country SA Primary Health Network.
Reboot Your Life: Living Well with Arthritis includes 10 2-hour workshops spread across a 10-week period. Each week you will:
- Do a micro-learning about arthritis and things you can do to make daily life more manageable. This also includes activities and group discussions.
- 45-minute group exercise class. You will receive your own tailored exercise program to complete during this time to make sure you get the right exercises for your body to help you achieve your goals.
- Short mindfulness activity
What topics will be covered in the weekly micro-learnings?
- What is arthritis? Common signs and symptoms
- Chronic pain and ways to manage it
- Arthritis and emotional wellbeing
- Physical activity
- Healthy eating
- Arthritis, stress and fatigue
- Mindfulness and relaxation exercises
Is there anything else I need to do as part of the program?
- You will need to attend a fitness assessment before starting the program so our instructors can understand your exercise goals and any health conditions or injuries you may have.
- This assessment will be repeated again after week-10 to measure your fitness improvements.
- It is a requirement of the grant conditions that you attend BOTH assessments.
- You may be required to have a medical clearance signed by your GP to participate in the program. You will be advised if this is required when you complete the enrolment form by one of our instructors.
What happens after the program finishes?
To help you continue to improve your health and wellbeing we have a special offer of up to 6-months of FREE ongoing face-to-face exercise classes for eligible participants **.

Part of the Reboot project aims to address a lack of arthritis resources available to First Nations Peoples that are sensitive to their cultural and spiritual needs.
Our first step in this endeavour was to commission a local Aboriginal artist Pat Caruso to help us design artwork to help signify to First Nations Peoples that the resources produced were sensitive to their needs and community.
Click the drop downs below to watch a video about the artist, a video explaining the artwork, and view the artwork.
First Nations Resources
These resources were co-developed with the Ngarrindjeri Elders and community. These resources are useful for anyone living with arthritis.
Please call our Infoline if you would like a copy sent to you. If you are a health organisation and would like copies for your clinic, please email [email protected].
