Is hydrotherapy right for me?

The benefits of hydrotherapy include:

  • Reduced stress on joints when exercising from the anti-gravity property of water.
  • Warmth of water (34 degrees) helps muscles relax.
  • Water provides natural resistance for building strength.
  • Safe environment for those worried about or at risk of falls.
  • Some conditions may prevent you from doing hydrotherapy. For example: Open wounds, Infections – such as urinary, skin, eye, and ear, incontinence, dizziness and fainting

How to enrol

  1. Click here to fill out the client intake form online.
  2. Alternatively, you can download the client intake form from this page, or call and we can email or post it to you.
  3. Complete and return all forms to Arthritis SA by submitting the online form or via mail, email, or drop them into our office.
  4. Arthritis SA will review your form and contact you if you require a medical clearance from your GP before your first session.
  5. Pay your deposit over the counter or via phone and book an initial fitness testing appointment (Hydro Move only).
